I started playing guitar in 5th grade in the back of a school bus. A friend had an old beat up acoustic he carried back and forth to school and he would teach me tunes on the ride home.  I learned a few chords and started playing John Denver songs shortly thereafter.

Well here I am, over 35 years later, doing what I always wanted to do, play in a rock-n-roll band. I think our motto is, 'If you can't play good, play loud". While I love playing Rock-n-Roll, I also enjoy writing songs. Most of my songs are acoustic tunes that I could only categorize as somewhere between New Age, Light Jazz, Light Blues and easy listening. I have written several songs that I posted on my own website at NewAlchemyMusic.  I am blessed in many ways, but to have the opportunity to glorify my Lord and Savior through my music has been very humbling.  2007 has been year in which the inspiration to write has really been strong.  There are many people and events in my life that have provided that inspiration.  I am thankful for His gift.  May his light shine bright through my music so that the world may come know Him.
